Refund Policy

Effective Date: 25/09/25

This Refunds & Payment Policy (“Policy”) sets out the terms under which clients (“Client”) engage with Hunter Author Services (“Company,” “we,” or “us”). By booking services with us, the Client agrees to the terms below.

1. Fees & Payment

  • The Client agrees to pay Hunter Author Services the total sum agreed between the parties. This will be documented within the client contract.

  • Upon receipt of this contract signed by the Client, Hunter Author Services will issue an invoice.

  • Invoices must be paid in full within 7 days of issue (Unless otherwise agreed)

  • Work will not commence until full payment is received.

2. Revisions

  • The Client is entitled to 3 rounds of minor revisions (e.g., spacing, font adjustments, layout tweaks).

  • Additional revisions beyond these 3 rounds may incur extra fees, to be agreed upon in writing before work continues.

3. Refunds

  • Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.

  • If the Client terminates the agreement before work begins, a refund may be issued minus any administrative fees (if applicable).

  • If the Client terminates after work has started, no refunds will be provided, but the Client will receive all completed work up to the termination date.

4. Termination of Agreement

Either party may terminate this Agreement upon written notice. In the event of termination:

  • The Client shall compensate Hunter Author Services for all services performed up to the termination date.

  • Hunter Author Services shall promptly return all manuscript materials to the Client and permanently delete any copies in their possession.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Hunter Author Services will exercise reasonable care in providing services, but is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or publication of the formatted manuscript.

6. Entire Agreement

This Policy, together with the signed service agreement, represents the entire understanding between the Parties and supersedes all prior discussions or agreements, whether written or oral.
